FIRE DANGER REMAINS EXTREME. RED FLAG WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT. CONDITIONS ARE HOT, DRY AND WINDY.
There was no growth in the fire overnight. Current fire area is 1,920 acres. Fire is 25 percent contained largely along the State Route 32 corridor.
Fourteen homes in the Rockport Estates and Rockport Ranches have been lost. Fire equipment and crews are working within these areas to secure structures and knockdown hot areas.
Dozers are working on the north flank between Rockport Estates and Bridge Hollow to secure the fire perimeter.
Aircraft including fixed wing and rotor are set up to provide continuing cycle of air support.
Crews from western and southwestern US are supporting local crews from Park City, North Summit, South Summit, Wasatch County and the Unified Fire District and Utah Forestry, Fire and State lands.
